Positive: Owner was very friendly and happily carried our bag up the stairs for us. Bonus was having a fridge and microwave in the room. Negative: Bath towels were small and not very thick. Street noise bothered us so a room at back of property might be better. Would be handy to have a fan in the room as when we visited the weather was unusually hot. No dedicated parking.

Great place to stay in Ballater Positive: Lovely location. Very nice and comfortable room with a view of the park. Negative: I prefer to check in and out with people instead of using a lock box, but perhaps that makes me old-fashioned.

Dated Accom but functional Positive: Location Negative: The room sadly smelt like it had someone smoking in it on a previous stay and had been covered up by some sort of fragrance. Booking in process for a group booking with multiple key locks was a little clunky as we were all arriving at different times.

Would definitely book again to Netherley Rooms Positive: Room size was very spacious. Wine glasses, plates, mugs, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine all available if needed. Spotlessly clean. Perfect location. Towels and toiletries were of good quality. Negative: Nothing negative really.
