Twin Room With Golf View: Grey Harlings

Quaint but they need staff on hand. Positive: Quaint, Victorian Inn; it was clean and quiet. It was also neat to be so close to the golf course. Lor was great about helping us when Booking.com booked too few rooms for us: she noticed and called me right away. Negative: There was no staff when we got there! The email instructions were confusing—mentioned Room 4 and also Room 5??! I had told them I needed rooms for 7 and they only had them for 6–I only noticed that a few nights before but got cut off so I never knew how it was resolved. And they never explained that the room key opened the front door too! The return call was to my phone that had no service, not to WhatsApp I needed to use while traveling. And when we got there late, and NO one was at the front desk to answer questions, which rooms, etc, I couldn’t even call anyone because THEIR WiFi was down!! It was a very frustrating experience—I must have spent over two hours on 4-5 phone calls just for to make sure things were right for ONE night!

Sehr sehr empfehlenswert und besonders Positive: Es ist eine sehr besondere Unterkunft. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Blick auf den Golfplatz. Wir konnten auch den Leuchtturm vom Fenster aus sehen. Der Strand ist sehr nah. Es war - vor allem nach schottischen Verhältnissen- sauber. Das Badezimmer war neu gemacht und wirklich sehr gut und groß. Negative: Die Betten waren entweder sehr weich oder durchgelegen;-)

A nice room with a view but has no facilities so its room not a hotel Positive: Location and size of the room Negative: The shower being blocked and when it was fixed (in a timely manner) they disconnected the drain so water floodeed downstairs and the they had to come back to fix it late at night when we had gone ot beed

Positive: Place was dog friendly although we usually pay a little less for our dog for a night.Beautiful walk to beach very close to Hotel my dog loved it. Lots of walks in general.Loved the fresh coffee in room and fridge microwave plates etc.Seating and tables outside in a lovely setting.On edge of golf course we had a lovely view from bedroom window another comfortable seat to sit and enjoy it would have been perfect. Negative: Not having en suite although private bathroom was lovely We would choose different room next time.l felt mattress l slept on needed replaced or a mattress topper as l woke up a few times with aching bones.Husbands bed was fine.

Positive: La situation très proche de la mer est un régal pour les yeux. La chambre était lumineuse et très grande.
