Convenient stopping point in Montrose for a visit to friends. Positive: We had a large spacious room. Large shower room with huge towels. Negative: No staff on duty, and the bar area was closed. Felt more like an air bnb with multiple rooms.

Positive: the view , comfy bed , facilities in the room , good location , easy check in , great communication with the host at all times Negative: although a very pleasant stay with no real complaints perhaps a little on the expensive side but would stay again for sure

Positive: On booking (app) this comes up as a hotel. It isn't. It's ROOM ONLY much like an air bnb. You get a key to a room in what looks like it once was a hotel. Theirs no kitchen, bar or staff at this site. Unless you go hunting the booking app for its description, you won't find this out until its too late. Negative: That its listed as a hotel and it isn't.

Quiet seaside retreat Positive: Spacious rooms, good facilities on site, close to the beach and a short walk from the town centre. Peaceful and quiet. Dog friendly! Negative: No bar or restaurant on site, but lots of places close by so not really an issue!
