Premium Golf View Family Room - Grey Harlings

Positive: Great rooms and location next to golf course and the ocean. Negative: The bed was very soft and caused me a pain in my neck and back.

Stil a good stay for a night or two! Positive: Very nice hotel in Scotland, the room with pool table was great Negative: No staff around / bar wasn’t open

Quaint but they need staff on hand. Positive: Quaint, Victorian Inn; it was clean and quiet. It was also neat to be so close to the golf course. Lor was great about helping us when Booking.com booked too few rooms for us: she noticed and called me right away. Negative: There was no staff when we got there! The email instructions were confusing—mentioned Room 4 and also Room 5??! I had told them I needed rooms for 7 and they only had them for 6–I only noticed that a few nights before but got cut off so I never knew how it was resolved. And they never explained that the room key opened the front door too! The return call was to my phone that had no service, not to WhatsApp I needed to use while traveling. And when we got there late, and NO one was at the front desk to answer questions, which rooms, etc, I couldn’t even call anyone because THEIR WiFi was down!! It was a very frustrating experience—I must have spent over two hours on 4-5 phone calls just for to make sure things were right for ONE night!

Un séjour autonome dans un cadre bucolique Positive: Les chambres sont très belles et possèdent tout le matériel nécessaire. La vue sur le terrain de golf est très agréable. Le parking est idéal. Le calme de l'emplacement est propice au repos. Negative: Rien.

Positive: Larger room had very comfy large bed & very relaxing window area with comfy seats which was lovely to sit in & look out to the golf course. Great facilities with kettle, coffee maker & microwave. Very small fridges also in both rooms. Self service check in worked well & was easy to use (I haven’t used before so was pleasantly surprised). Plenty of parking, lovely garden, short walk to beach. Easy to contact staff & quick reply when needed. Would stay again. Negative: Adjoining door between rooms 1 & 2 was sealed so couldn’t be used which wasn’t as advertised & I wouldn’t have booked had I known. Smaller room with two single beds also didn’t have an ensuite - private bathroom across from room. Again wouldn’t have booked had this been clear. However in the end it worked out fine & would stay again.
