Marine Rooms - Room3

Good location for the beach, but note there is no view from Room 3 (this didn’t worry me, but may be a problem for other Positive: I was in Room 3 - The room was very clean and the location was good. The welcome fudge was delicious! The shower was great. Coffee machine and plates/bowls/utensils were appreciated, as was the plant-based milk options. Communication was good (mainly AI). Negative: The floor in the bathroom was VERY creaky and the toilet sounded like it was about to fall off the wall. I was very conscious of waking my neighbours every time I walked into the bathroom! It was very hot in the room, but was difficult to leave the window open as it opens directly into the carpark. There is no aircon or fan.

Gutes Guesthouse für eine Übernachtung (wenn man z.b. auf die Orkney Inseln will) Positive: Großes Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Alles modern und sauber. Stilvoll eingerichtet. Kleiner Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle vorhanden. Ordentlich großer Fernseher vorhanden. Bad sehr schön im "alten" Retro-Stil eingerichtet mit Badewanne und Duschmöglichkeit (Antirutschmatte vorhanden). Ruhigste Lage in einem Wohngebiet. Direkt hinter dem Guesthose liegt ein Strand/beginnt das Meer. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum. In gut 15 Minuten am Bahnhof. Negative: Die Umgebung war etwas "trist", da alle Häuser im Wohnviertel sehr in die Jahre gekommen sind. So wirkte auch das Gueshouse von außen sehr "trist". Der versprochene Meerblick vom Zimmer aus, war es nicht, sondern mein Fenster ging raus zum Parkplatz.

Be sure to know which room it is you'll be getting. The room is modern with a nice bathroom too. Positive: Room was clean Negative: A little misleading with the pictures, we were expecting a view of the beach but that wasn't the case.

Positive: Convenient for NC500. Negative: No place for wife to dry hair in front of mirror.

Needed a room forc1 nite to catch an early ferrry. This accommodation was perfect. Positive: Clean and comfortable Negative: N/a
